The day-to-day maintenance and operation of each Magical Bridge Playground is managed by the city where it is located. If you notice any maintenance, equipment, or cleanliness issues at Magical Bridge Playground in Santa Clara, please call the the city's Parks and Recreation Department at 408-615-3770 or visit their website.
Please note: Magical Bridge Santa Clara will be closed every Wednesday from from 8am - 12noon for maintenance.
Central Park
Magical Bridge Foundation and our building partners thank the City of Santa Clara, Santa Clara County Supervisors, and the generous Santa Clara community for making this playground possible.
Each Magical Bridge Playground is unique and custom for the location. Making creative use of the natural hills of Central Park, the play space features three tiers of play:

Custom Playhouse and Stage
At the center of the Magical Bridge playground is our custom Barbara Butler original two-story playhouse with a community stage and amphitheater. The colors of the playhouse and treehouse pathways were chosen by the City of Santa Clara to honor the Spanish Missions historic to the area. Also created by Barbara Butler are 3 Hideaway Huts™ throughout the playground providing a quiet retreat for those with autism.

Innovation and Kindness
Innovation Zone with a 24-string Laser Harp designed by Jen Lewin. The tones are tuned to a pentatonic scale which is more soothing than a heptatonic scale, especially to those with autism. Our Kindness Corner showcases original art by disabled artists from the SF-based Creativity Explored studio.

Swing, Spin, and Slide
The Swing Zone has bucket seats for all ages, a disk swing, and an accessible group sway experience. The Spin Zone features an accessible carousel, a climbing net spinner, and disk spinner which allow multiple positions. The Slide Zone has sensory slides for all ages and abilities with our patented Slide and Sit Landings™ allowing a place to wait for those needing additional time.

Relaxation and Fitness
The playground offers meandering and smooth pathways with a gentle grade for walks with the whole family. There are two picnic areas with accessible seating and game tables for family gatherings. The community will enjoy adult fitness equipment just outside of the playground — and relaxing hammocks on the top perimeter of the playground for a quiet getaway.

GETTING THERE
The Santa Clara Magical Bridge Playground is located in Central Park, Santa Clara, CA, near Arbor Center at the corner of Kiely and Homestead, with access from Kiely Blvd or from within the park, across the bridge from the Pavillion. Parking is available off Kiely (the Central Park Santa Clara parking lot) with a short walk/roll into the playground.
Please note that Magical Bridge does not take reservations for birthday parties or large events. The playground is maintained and managed by the City of Santa Clara. Please see their website for reservation information.
