Rengstorff Park

Magical Bridge Foundation and our building partners thank the City of Mountain View, Santa Clara County Supervisors, and the generous Mountain View community for making this playground possible.

Each Magical Bridge Playground is unique and custom for the location. This beautiful location features:

**

Custom Playhouse and Stage

Playground visitors will enjoy the Barbara Butler original two-story playhouse with a community stage for performances. Barbara's playhouses are made of sustainably sourced wood and non-toxic tung oils. The bold and fun colors were chosen by the Mountain View community in an online public vote. Also created by Barbara Butler are 3 Hideaway Huts™ throughout the playground providing a quiet retreat for those with autism.

**

Swing, Spin, and Slide

The Swing Zone has bucket seats for all ages, a disk swing, and an accessible group sway experience. The Spin Zone features an accessible carousel, a climbing net spinner, and disk spinner which allow multiple positions. The Slide Zone has sensory slides for all ages and abilities with our patented Slide and Sit Landings™ allowing a place to wait for those needing additional time.

**

Tot Zone Art and Kindness Cove

The Tot Zone Kindness Corner showcases original art by disabled artists from the SF-based Creativity Explored studio. This art gallery is presented by HP and Magical Bridge through our “Enhancing Employment and Inclusivity Through Art” partnership. Learn more about our art programs and how to get involved here.

Relaxation and Gathering

The playground offers meandering and smooth pathways for walks with the whole family. There are multiple picnic areas with accessible seating and game tables in the Kindness Cove for family gatherings. Sponsored by LinkedIn, the Kindness Cove features messages of kindness and acceptance to inspire reflection and conversation.
