Magical Bridge Foundation Finds Playhouse + Playstage Sponsor in Jay Paul Company
Donation marks second investment in inclusiveness from company

Sunnyvale, CA Mar. 16, 2018 — Magical Bridge Foundation is excited to announce the $350,000 investment by Jay Paul to the new Magical Bridge Playground for inclusive play. Jay Paul’s donation will contribute to the construction of the custom Playhouse + Playstage zone at the new and all-inclusive playground in Sunnyvale’s Fair Oaks Park.

“Through our many years of work in Sunnyvale we have always been impressed with the generous and inclusive nature of the community,” said Jay Paul. “We are proud to extend that community spirit and to be part of the Magical Bridge Playground at Fair Oaks Park to match that spirit of inclusion with a place for truly inclusive play.”

Magical Bridge Playgrounds are mindfully designed to be socially inclusive for children and adults of many physical and cognitive abilities. The Magical Bridge Foundation calls on a decade of research and insights from inclusion specialists to design play spaces that welcome everyone. The third critical component to bringing these playgrounds to life is community – including advocacy and investment by engaged organizations, corporations, school partners and volunteers.

“With the help of donors like Jay Paul, each new Magical Bridge Playground is igniting a national movement of accessibility and inclusion. Jay Paul Company’s donation exemplifies how a business can make a true difference,” said Magical Bridge Founder Olenka Villarreal.

Magical Bridge Foundation co-founder Olenka Villarreal hopes other businesses and groups will come forward to fund the final $800K needed for the Sunnyvale playground.

Jay Paul’s contribution to the Sunnyvale playground mark the second collaboration of the real estate company with Magical Bridge Foundation. Their $200,000 donation to the Swing & Sway zone at the Redwood City Magical Bridge Playground in Red Morton Park helped finalize funding for the playground. Each Magical Bridge Playground requires an investment of approximately $4.7 million.
